La Quinta Appleton Fox River Mall

There are 2 Inns/suites with same name next to each other. I was booked at the Inn which was under renovation during my stay. Had I known before arriving, I would not of stayed there. Had to climb over rolls of carpet and padding to get to my room. Fumes from the glue were over whelming and gave me a very bad migraine. Staff very friendly and even tried to re book me to the other, very expensive Suites next door. Since hotel was prepaid they could not transfer payment or reservation. The staff at suites very rude, including the manager, so I returned to the Inn. Took photos with my cell if interested. Due to no fault of mine the plane was delayed in Dallas 6 hours making my arrival to Milwaukee 1am with a drive time of 2 hours to get to hotel, the next day was a safer way to drive. Refusal to change and charge me for a night anyway claiming a days notice prior was needed when it would be impossible to do made me see not to do this ever again. The hotel was in an excellent location, very close to shopping and the Airport. The rooms were clean and well set up, but the bedding and furniture were a little worn.

The location was good.

Overall I was very impressed with the hotel. Front desk person was friendly and accommodating. The room was very
clean and the king size bed was extremely comfortable. I would definitely stay again! ...read more
